Round Timber Board #1

A vintage round wooden cheese or serving board, in a warm honey-toned timber. Softly worn from use, in the way only old pieces can be. Likely crafted from beech or ash wood.

The board features an old metal repair plate, a traditional method once used in European kitchens to stabilise well-loved timber. We love that it was considered a piece worth saving, and this gentle imperfection adds to its rustic character.

This board is ideal for serving cheese, fruit and bread, but we particularly love to style it leaning against the kitchen backsplash. It’s a timeless piece that is both functional and beautiful.

Please note that this piece has knife marks from use, consistent with its age. Our pieces have signs of wear. This is part of their charm. Hand wash only. Measuring approximately 53cm tall (including handle) by 42cm wide.
