Poterie Goicoechea Amphora Vessel

A hand-thrown vintage earthenware vessel, originating from a renowned Basque pottery atelier in the South of France. 

With a rounded amphora form and twin loop handles, this piece is typical of traditional French pottery. The natural clay surface, left largely unglazed, has subtle tonal variation, markings and organic texture. 

Steeped in regional craftmanship, vessels like this one were designed to be both functional and enduring. Today, it reads as sculptural and rustic with its warm, terracotta colour. Equally striking with seasonal stems or displayed as is.

Measuring approximately 20cm tall. Please note this piece has markings consistent with its age. This is part of its charm.
