Stokes & Son's Single Stem Vase

Stokes & Son's was a prominent Australian silversmith company from the late 19th to mid 20th century. 

Based in Melbourne, Stokes & Son's operated from a lane that once ran between Elizabeth and Queen Street.

This silver plated single stem vase is a gorgeous piece of Australian history, likely originating from the early 1900s, complete with Stokes & Son's maker's mark. Also known as a 'trumpet' or 'bud' vase.

It is a stunning addition to a bedside, by a sink or on an entryway table, holding a delicate single stem or bud flower. Refined, elegant and striking with its simple silhouette and scalloped lip. 

Hand wash in warm water only. Approximately 19cm tall. All of our vintage pieces show signs of wear and age, this is part of their charm.
