Limestone Trough

A hand-carved limestone trough, sourced in Provence. Shaped by time, weather and touch. Carrying a beautiful, rough speckled exterior.

Once utilitarian, likely used as a primitive sink, now perfect for bringing character and texture to the modern home.

This trough has a small drainage hole, making it appropriate to use as a planter, for herbs, lavender or other small plants. We think this would be particularly gorgeous styled as a planter filled with your favourite blooms on a windowsill.

It would be equally beautiful styled standalone on a coffee table, entryway table or inside a hutch. Versatile, rustic and enduring.

Please note that all of our pieces show signs of age and wear, this is part of their charm. Measuring approximately 40cm long and 20cm wide. Please note that this piece has been cleaned by us since arriving in Australia, however small amounts of dust or soil may remain in the limestone deposits despite our best attempts.
