Small Greige Confit Pot

A small vintage French confit pot, in a warm greige glaze and gentle age-earned speckling. Its soft neutral tones give it that timeless provincial charm.

Confit pots are typical of the Southwest and Burgundy or Lyon regions of France. They are becoming harder to come by. Once used in rural kitchens for storing preserved foods and cooking essentials, it now makes a beautiful styling piece in your open shelving, kitchen bench or on a coffee table. We would style this as a utensil holder in the kitchen for a beautiful yet functional feel. The neutral colourway makes it suitable for any interior style.

This confit pot is in good condition but does show signs of age and wear. This is part of its charm. Hand wash only. When styled with florals, we recommend placing a clear jug or container inside with water, rather than pouring water into the confit itself, to avoid any seeping of moisture. Measuring approximately 15cm tall and 14cm wide at its handles.
