Wooden Trug Basket

A gorgeous wooden French garden trug with warm, weathered timber and a sturdy curved handle. It brings a French provincial or English garden feel.

We particularly love to style this piece as a fruit basket, because whilst functional, it is a stunning standalone piece. 

This piece was sourced from a local’s private collection of antique and vintage wares in Avignon. We love to wonder what beautiful fruits and flowers this basket has helped forage in its lifetime.

Please note that this piece has moisture marks from use. This piece has been cleaned, and all efforts have been made to rid soil from the joins of the timber edges however please note this piece has signs of age and wear. This is part of its charm. Hand wash only.
