Rustic French Tian

An authentic French tian bowl. These are believed to have originated between the 18^th and 19^th centuries. Sourced by us in Avignon, Provence.

These rustic pieces of earthenware were once used in the kitchens of Provence but are now prized collector’s items. This piece will bring a hint of French country charm into any space.

It has a gorgeous, subtle interior glaze, somewhere between butter yellow and beige. The rustic, textured outside displays a rich patina.

A truly stunning and revered styling piece. Perfect to anchor your dining table or island bench, as a large fruit bowl or statement piece on your coffee table.

Please note that all of our pieces show signs of age and wear, this is part of their charm. The circumference of the opening of the bowl is approximately 38cm. Hand wash in warm water only.
