'Poet's Writing Desk' French Farmhouse Table

We have affectionately named this vintage French provincial table our ‘Poet’s Writing Desk.’ Sourced from a local’s collection in Avignon, Provence.

This table is constructed from softly worn pine. Its warm timber, which shows signs of age and use, carries the stories of previous owners. A place for the quiet rituals of everyday, a coffee, writing, working. Handmade & built to last.

This table has a functional drawer, with a gorgeous iron handle. Whilst it is traditionally a desk, its size makes it versatile, meaning it can also be used as an entryway table or a small dining table. The timber varies in tone and grain throughout.

Measuring approximately 130cm long, 80cm tall and 75cm deep. Our pieces show signs of age and wear; this is part of their charm. There are markings consistent with use on the top, legs and back of the table.
